Community Development Committee
The Baldwin City Community Development Committee usually meets once a month to discuss matters concerning the planning and development of our community. Meetings are usually held at City Hall, 803 Eighth Street. Check the City Calendar on the main page of this site for any upcoming committee meetings.
The Committee is comprised of 5 members and complimented by City Staff. Concerns regarding economic development, business attraction and retention, park improvement, land use planning and other quality of life issues are frequent topics for this committee.
Public Safety Committee
The Baldwin City Public Safety Committee usually meets once a month to discuss matters of public safety to our community. Meetings are normally held at City Hall located at 803 Eighth Street. Check the City calendar on the main page of this site for any upcoming committee meetings.
The Committee is comprised of approximately 10 members representing the community at large, City Council, and City Departments. Concerns generated by the public, committee members, or City employees are then discussed and often reported back to the City Council. Any person wishing to express a concern to be discussed at a Public Safety Committee meeting should contact City Hall.
