City-Wide Cleanup
The next scheduled city-wide cleanup will be October 1, 2011, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. The location for materials dropoff will once again be at city's waste water treatment/power plant located at 1100 Orange Street.
- Items accepted at the drop site include:
- Limbs of all manageable sizes and yard waste
- Trash and debris not picked up on regular schedule
- Recyclable metals, applicances, plastics and glass
- Items not accepted at the drop site:
- Hazardous waste
- Commercial Waste
- Contractor dumping
- Tires (will be accepted at Baldwin Tires and Service for a small fee from 8am until 12 noon loated at 109 Highway 56 / 785-594-2163
