Teddy A. Brecheisen, Jr.

Teddy A. Brecheisen, Jr. has lived in or near Baldwin City all his life. Ted is retired and spends his time golfing or at the direction of his wife, Vera. They have two grown children.

Ted has served several terms on the City Council, and was re-elected in 2003 to his current term, which expires in May, 2007. Ted serves on the Utilities Committee and the Public Works Committee as well.





Anthony Brown

Anthony Brown grew up in Evansville, Indiana and earned a bachelor's degree from Wabash College. Tony then earned his Master's and Doctoral degrees from Vanderbilt University. He joined the psychology department at Baker University in 1990, receiving tenure and promotion to his current position of Associate Professor in 1996. He is a member of the Baldwin City Lions Club and is active in the local arts community. Tony's wife, Becky Henderson, is a French teacher at Central Junior High in Lawrence. They have a daughter, Halley Henderson. The family has resided in Baldwin City since 1994.

Tony was elected in April, 2005 to fill a vacated council term that expires in 2007. He serves as chair of the Community Development Committee, and as a member of the Public Health and Safety Committee.




Amy Cleavinger

Amy Cleavinger grew up in Wichita and has lived in Baldwin City since 1996. She is vice president and mortgage lender manager for the Lawrence area at Capital Federal Savings Bank, where she has worked since 1992. She and her husband Rob have two sons.

Amy was re-elected to a four-year term in April, 2005. She serves as Chair of the City's Finance Committee, and also serves on the Community Development Committee.




Doyle Jardon

Doyle Jardon was elected to a four-year term on the City Council in April, 2005. Mr. Jardon comes from a family with a rich heritage in Baldwin City, and is the latest in the family to step up to public service. Mr. Jardon is the owner/operator of Tires'N'More in Baldwin City.




Ken Wagner

Ken Wagner and his family have lived in Baldwin City for approximately 9 years and have been very active in the social and political landscape for much of that time. Ken is the Owner/General Manager of Heritage Tractor, Inc. and has previously served on the City Council from 2000 to 2004. He has also been a member of the Baldwin City Utilities Committee and the Board of Zoning Appeals.

Ken was elected to the City Council in 2007 for a four year term. Ken also serves as chair of the City's Community Development Committee.
