Q: Who is this deferment program for?
A: Anyone who needs it, either residential or business. If you are struggling financially, we want to offer you options at this time.
Q: Is there a fee or cost for deferring my utilities?
A: No. There is no interest charge and no extra cost associated with this program.
Q: How many months can I defer?
A: Up to three (3) months. You may choose either March, April, May or April, May, June, or you may choose any one (1) of those months.
Q: Do I have to enroll in this program?
A: No. It’s designed to help if needed.
Q: How will this be paid off?
A: The total cost you defer will be divided over 12 months and 1/12th of the cost will be added to your bill beginning in July 2020. For example, if you choose to defer March through May, and the total amount of those three monthly bills equals $600, then you would have an extra $50 ($600 divided by 12) added to your monthly bill total beginning in July of 2020 through June of 2020.
