Drop Your Mail-in Ballot at City Hall

Douglas County logo

The Douglas County Elections Office wants to give voters as many safe options to vote in the upcoming primary and general elections as possible. To that end, Baldwin City residents are able to use the City’s secure overnight drop box at City Hall to submit their ballots instead of going to the post office to mail them.

The Douglas County Election Office has provided City staff with a secure voting bag to collect ballots. A county election official will come to City Hall at least three days per week to collect ballots received through our drop box.

Baldwin City Hall is located at 803 8th Street, The drop box - where many residents bring their monthly utility bills - is located to the south of City Hall doors.

Ballots will be accepted at the drop box through NOON on August 3. On August 4th, primary election day, voters can drop their mail in ballots at ANY polling place in Douglas County. If you have questions, please reach out to City Hall at 785-594-6427.
