2019 High Street Sidewalk Project

Sealed Bids for the construction of the 2019 High Street Sidewalk Project in Baldwin City, KS will be received by the Baldwin City at the office of the City Clerk located at 803 8th Street, Baldwin City, KS 66006 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday September 20, 2019, and then publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened.
The Project consists of sidewalk repairs and construction of new sidewalk on High Street (Main Street to 8th Street). The Project includes, but is not limited to the following approximate major quantities of work:

Concrete Pavement (6” Uniform)(AE)
Sidewalk Ramp (AE)
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
LOCAL VENDOR PROCUREMENT POLICY: Bidder and any of Bidder’s subcontractors must have a local mailing address (no P.O. box) within the Baldwin City Unified School District (USD# 348) boundary. Bidder may be required to show proof of compliance with the Local Vendor Procurement Policy prior to award of the construction contract.
