City Launches New Utility Billing Portal

Baldwin City utility customers who access and pay your bills online, we have a new and fully updated web portal for you! Even if you have already been using bill pay online, you will need to create an account the first time you access the portal.

Baldwin City utility customers who access and pay your bills online, we have a new and fully updated web portal for you! Even if you have already been using bill pay online, you will need to create an account the first time you access the portal.

Please remember to update any bookmarks you have saved to the old web portal.

Step-by-Step Instructions to Create an Online Account for Baldwin City Utilities

  1. Visit our customer website at https://baldwincity.frontdeskgworks.com/.
  2. Click Create Now below the login button to begin your account creation.
  3. Are you a current Utility customer receiving bills? If so, select Yes. If not, select No. If the answer is no, you will proceed to the next screen where you can enter contact information including Phone Number, Account Type, Name, Email Address, and set a password.
  4. If you are a current Utility Customer, you must then provide additional information for your utility account:
  5. Account Number. The utility account number listed on your bill.
  6. Physical Address. This is the address associated with the Utility Account. (Only enter street name and street number, and/or unit number, Ex. 12340 West Road. (Enter spelling exactly the way it shows on your bill)
  7. On the following page you would enter the email, password, and phone number that you want to display on your public user profile.

Your Account is now created!

Updating Account details

The My account tab located along the left-hand menu bar within your FrontDesk is where you can update personal details such as your display name, address, notifications preferences, and updating your current password.

  1. Your Information: In this section you can update your mobile number, display name, mailing address, and additional personal information.
  2. Login Details: Navigate here to update your current FrontDesk password.
  3. Payment Preferences: Navigate here to save payment methods either a credit, debit, or e-check. You can also enroll in autopay here as well.
  4. Notification preferences: Navigate here to update your email and text notification preferences, as well as to sign up for paper billing if you wish to continue getting a paper bill from the city.


Enrolling in Autopay

In order to enroll in autopay or save payment methods for a faster checkout, follow the instructions below:

  • On the pay bills tab, click edit under payment preferences
  • Once you’ve clicked into payment preferences press the + option next to payment methods in order to add and save your payment method. You can save a credit card, debit card, or e-check. If you want to enable autopay, click the autopay slider located above the payment methods.

You’ve now enrolled in autopay!
