Electric Department to Perform Thermal Imaging Overnight August 21st

The electric department will be out this evening, August 21st, and throughout the night, doing the annual thermal imaging of all feeders in town. They will be using orange UTVs marked City of Baldwin City on the side.

This work can only be done at night, and is performed on a "peak load" night. The goal is to find any hot spots on the equipment and fix them before they become a problem. In Baldwin, our energy load peaks, or hits its highest levels, usually shortly after Baker and USD348 start when it's still hot. Hot is an understatement this week, so be careful out there, energy hunters! ⚡️
